About Dr. Forbes

Dr. D’Vano Forbes is from the island of Turks and Caicos. He was attracted to the oral and maxillofacial specialty because it offered a creative and innovative way to make an immediate impact on patients’ lives.

When patients come to Dr. Forbes, he wants them to know they will be treated like family because they are family. Providing help and offering support is what he finds to be the most rewarding part of his profession. If someone is nervous, they can trust that he will be there to calm their nerves and ensure they have a good experience. It’s about taking the time to understand the patient—their goals, frustrations, concerns, anxieties, and history all help him provide an experience that exceeds their expectations.

After completing his residency, he was in search of a practice that modeled what he would like to be doing in the future and that offered an opportunity for growth. Dr. Balaci’s forward-thinking and patient-centered approach to care was a perfect fit. Dr. Forbes is excited to be part of the Balaci Oral and Facial Surgery team and looks forward to providing patients with compassionate care for all of their oral surgery needs.
